I highly recommend this beautiful Hong Kong film to everyone. Red Rose, White Rose is a breath-taking piece of art; if you aren't compelled by the story then I am certain you will be overwhelmed by the work of the great cinematographer, Christopher Doyle.



Also recommending the Turkish film Distant (Uzak). Perhaps, the lack of dialogue may be a bit disheartening to most, but the beauty of this film will blow you away. Click here for trailer.

I am gleefully awaiting the opening of the Sponge Bob Square Pants film. Why? I am growing a bit weary of watching films which leave me feeling unresolved about characters.
